Good writeup.
I agree that game 7 can go either way and I think it will be a close one.
If the Kings win, I will not gloat or trash talk because this has been a very even series and both teams deserve a ton of respect.
The one thing I would bet money on is that one of the Kings, Ducks or Hawks will win the Cup this season as I don't see the NYR or Habs beating any of these teams. |

I agree, Nobody has room to trash talk after this series. So many things I hate about the Ducks, One of them is how much heart and effort they play with against the Kings. Another thing that I hate, is me having to admit that I now respect them. Both teams are playing for keeps, while leaving the dirty play for the regular season. Epic game 7!!! Go Kings! |

Win or lose both teams have a lot to be proud of. It's been a great series. Hopefully there's plenty of this matchup in the future. |

I don't know. As tough as this is to say...I think NY will get it done. |

Very good series, cleanly played games for the most part. Guess it shows that even though some of the players are friends off the ice they can still give you a great show.
I do think the fact both teams have won the cup recently, takes some of the edge off, especially for Kings fans. If the Kings had not won the cup a couple of years I don't think there would be as much respect by fans. And the same probably could be said for Duck fans too.
Game 7, lots of Duck fans, lots of Kings fans in the building together. Should be a fun one. |

Throughout the season I continually said the Ducks haven't proved anything because
They've been just a regular season winner. This playoff series the Ducks have proved they're for real. Should be epic! I will root for the winner of the 7 game to take the cup. GKG!!! |

Why? They've played two mediocre at best teams in Philly and Pittsburgh. Not to mention they've looked sloppy against Montreal. |

Really? That's a bold statement. I guess as long as Chicago doesn't win I'm happy. |

I hate to admit it but Montreal is basically my favorite Eastern team. Completely unrelated to the Kings. I just like their jerseys and the fact that Roy played for them. Roy and Guy Herbert (boss) are the reasons why I'm a goalie. |

No forgiveness until LA beats them in the finals. |

Steve Palumbo: Here We Go: Game 7, Did You Expect Anything Less? - Steve Palumbo
One noticable difference in this series is how many Ducks players are looking forward to play at "home". Every interview I've read they always talk about going "home" while the Kings keep talking about the "next game". I'm not expecting the Ducks to have a major collapse or anything, but I do think they rely too heavily on their home advantage, like they can relax a little. They have earned their home advantage, no doubt but it's not like they have a stellar home record in these playoffs. |

Pierre Turgeon doesn't get injured by that POS Dale Hunter and 1993 is very, very, different. |

I agree, habs have the mojo right now. As for this series I don't think its creating the huge rivalry thats been talked about. Its been good clean hockey nothing like the crap SJ or Vancouver pulls. Ducks are stl the enemy but If ducks represent California I will be rooting for them, especially for teemu and especially because they will have to take down the Hawks and Montreal.......enough said there. Good write up SP |

At the end of the day, this has been one of the better series that I have watched. I am pulling for the Ducks, but either way this handshake line is going to be rather fun to watch. These teams respectfully hate each other, and that is what this sport is about.
Battle for the prize and respect the other team while doing it. I definitely thought this series could have gone the other direction and been nothing but ugly. |

I think it's safe to say that most, if not all, of us did not see this series ending like that. |
